Rigger – Machinery Mover Overview
Rigger – Machinery Mover for T&D. The position involves rigging and assisting the installation of large machinery, including printing presses, industrial production equipment, large chillers, boilers, switch gear, and medical equipment such as MRIs. Our work includes operating with specialized trucks, forklifts, gantries, and cranes.
Responsibilities- Rig and assist the installation of large equipment and machinery as part of project teams.
- Work with specialized trucks, forklifts, gantries, and cranes as required.
- Drug screening, criminal background, and driver record check required.
- Previous experience is a plus, but not a requirement.
- CDL A is a plus but not required for this position.
- Based out of Alpharetta facility. Typical workdays are 8-12 hours with overtime after 8 hours; weekend work and travel; out-of-town assignments typically 2-5 days, may be longer depending on customer requirements.
