Job Description & How to Apply Below

Inte Pros is seeking a hands-on Field Services Technician to support the nationwide deployment and installation of apheresis/plasma collection equipment across Plasma centers throughout Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina.

As part of a dedicated deployment team, the Device Technician will travel to plasma centers to prepare, install, test, troubleshoot, and validate new equipment while providing onsite technical support to center personnel. This is a highly hands-on, travel-intensive position focused specifically on device deployment and implementation rather than ongoing preventive maintenance or long-term equipment management.

Responsibilities
  • Support the installation and deployment of plasma collection devices at Plasma centers, including equipment preparation, setup, installation verification, testing, and operational readiness.
  • Work with vendors, project teams, and center personnel to ensure equipment is properly installed, configured, tested, and ready for use.
  • Perform installation verification, operational qualification activities, functional testing, and device readiness checks.
  • Troubleshoot technical and equipment issues encountered during installations and elevate more complex problems to the appropriate technical resources.
  • Provide onsite technical support during implementation and initial stabilization to minimize disruption to plasma center operations.
  • Document installation activities, test results, troubleshooting efforts, equipment status, and other required information in accordance with established procedures.
  • Communicate project status, risks, issues, and equipment concerns to project leadership.
  • Assist with equipment logistics, including preparation, inventory verification, packing, shipping, storage, and vendor returns.
  • Provide basic operational guidance and technical instruction to center personnel regarding newly deployed equipment and approved procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with client policies, safety standards, quality requirements, regulatory expectations, and applicable SOPs.
  • Support additional deployment activities and special projects as needed
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical, biomedical equipment, electronics, mechanical, or healthcare-related training preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in technical support, medical devices, healthcare, manufacturing, field service, equipment installation, or a related environment preferred.
  • Previous experience supporting equipment installations, implementations, deployments, or operational startup activities preferred.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting experience with technical, mechanical, electronic, or medical equipment strongly preferred.
  • Experience working within a regulated environment is a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in the field while collaborating effectively with project teams, vendors, and onsite personnel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to accurately document technical activities.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Excel preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to changing schedules, priorities, and deployment requirements.
Physical & Travel Requirements
  • Extensive overnight travel required – up to 80%.
  • Travel may include evenings, weekends, and short-notice assignments depending on deployment schedules.
  • Extended hours, overtime, and weekend work may occasionally be required.
  • Ability to lift, move, transport, and position equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds independently.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, climb, and perform hands-on equipment work for extended periods.
  • Work will take place within active healthcare/plasma collection environments and may involve exposure to blood borne pathogens, hazardous chemicals, and varying temperatures.
  • Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.
