We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong experience in Java, Selenium, Playwright, and SQL to join our quality engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing robust automation frameworks, driving test strategy, and ensuring high-quality delivery across complex applications.
The Role Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and Playwright.
- Create scalable, maintainable, and reusable automated test suites for UI, API, and integration testing.
- Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
- Perform deep-dive analysis of issues, identify root causes, and recommend improvements.
- Implement CI/CD-driven automated testing pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or similar.
- Write complex SQL queries for data validation, test data preparation, and backend verification.
- Drive best practices in automation, coding standards, and test coverage across the team.
- 08+ years of experience as an SDET or QA Automation Engineer.
- Strong programming skills in Java with hands-on experience in object-oriented design, debugging, and automation.
- Expertise in Selenium Web Driver and Playwright for UI test automation.
- Strong understanding of API testing tools (Rest Assured, Postman, etc.).
- Solid experience with SQL for database validation (joins, views, stored procedures, complex queries).
- Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Lab, Azure Dev Ops).
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and end-to-end testing lifecycle.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
