The Opportunity

We are seeking a Software Engineer to develop embedded control software for HVAC products, including control board development, system verification, and communication integration. Candidates should have experience with C-based microcontroller programming and an interest in HVAC or building automation. As a technical expert, you will support product development and identify market opportunities aligned with industry trends.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and debug embedded software for HVAC control systems.
• Implement control logic and algorithms.
• Build test environments and conduct logic testing and validation (unit and system-level testing).
• Perform pre-launch verification, issue analysis, and coordinate with field support teams.
• Create technical documentation and collaborate with HQ.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Computer, Control Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience in embedded systems development using C language.
• Experience designing and debugging microcontroller-based software.
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems or control logic.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Bilingual in Korean and English.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (domestic/international).
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with real-time control systems.
• Knowledge of communication protocols like Modbus, BACnet, UART, RS485.
• Experience developing control algorithms for HVAC.
• Familiarity with PC-based development tools (Visual Basic, C#, JAVA).
• Experience with source code and project management tools (Git, Jira).
• Experience working with HQ in Korea or global projects.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a global culture.

Salary Range: $65,000 USD
