Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Developer (Java) to join our team. The candidate will actively participate in detailed design sessions, engage in hands-on coding and testing, and collaborate closely with Users, Business Analysts, QA teams, and Development teams located in New York, California, and Chicago. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a global team environment.

• Participate in detailed design sessions and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Develop and maintain server-side applications using J2EE.
• Build Java APIs to supply data to
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Users, Business Analysts, and QA teams.
• Mentor junior team members and drive innovation within the team.
• Ensure code quality through rigorous testing and adherence to best practices.

• 10-15 years of experience in building server-side applications using J2EE.
• Excellent Java and Multithreading programming skills.
• Strong design skills, including experience with Design Patterns (GOF).
• Proficiency with MVC frameworks like Spring and web services (REST).
• Experience with Agile Methodology (Scrum).
• Proficient with databases, particularly DB2.
• Knowledge of Application Servers such as Tomcat and Web Sphere.
• Unix or Linux development and working knowledge.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a global team environment.

• Experience with GIT, Team City, and IBM MQ.
• Knowledge of IBM UDB/DB2.
• UI skills such as JavaScript, Angular
  
  JS, React, and HTML5 (optional).
• Exposure to the financial industry.
