About The Team:
We are looking for a skilled mid-level Software Engineer with strong expertise in Back End Development and additional skills in Front End Development. As a member of one of our development squads, you will have the opportunity to learn and contribute to our cutting-edge solutions within the Insurance market while working in a collaborative and fast paced environment.
Requirements:
Experience in Node.

JS, RESTful API, and cloud computing (GCP or AWS) are a must

Knowledge of Mongo

DB and proficiency in SQL database querying (SQL or Non-SQL), NestJS, and Python

Event-driven architecture and microservices architecture

Experience of web forms, creating dynamic responsive UIs, state management, HTML/CSS

Knowledge of Tanstack React Query and Vercel

Effective communicator to various teams including developers, BAs, product managers, and QAs

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop efficient workflows and integrations

Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and Git Hub and experience with Git Hub source control

A methodical and detail-oriented mindset that uses logical thinking and problem-solving capabilities

Responsibilities:
Core Development
Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using  Type Script ,  React ,  Node.js , and  NestJS .

Build and maintain  RESTful APIs  and  microservices  to support Flyreel's platform and integrations.

Implement  event-driven architectures  to improve performance, reliability, and real-time data processing.

Develop  responsive, dynamic user interfaces  that provide a seamless user experience across devices.

Ensure high performance and responsiveness of front-end and back-end components.

Cloud and Infrastructure
Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications in  GCP  or  AWS  environments.

Utilize cloud services and serverless architectures (e.g., Lambda, Cloud Functions) for scalability and cost-efficiency.

Collaborate with Dev Ops teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows, particularly via  Vercel  for frontend services.

Data and Integration
Work with  Mongo

DB  and  SQL/No

SQL  databases to design schemas, optimize queries, and maintain data integrity.

Integrate data and workflows across internal and external systems using APIs and event-driven patterns.

Use tools like  Axios  and  Tanstack React Query  for effective data fetching, caching, and synchronization in frontend applications.

Collaboration and Communication
Collaborate closely with  product managers ,  business analysts ,  QA engineers , and other developers to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Participate in  sprint planning ,  code reviews , and  technical design discussions  to ensure alignment and quality.

Document code, system designs, and processes in  Confluence  and manage work items using  Jira .

Use  Git Hub  for version control and contribute to maintaining a clean, structured branching strategy.

Quality and Continuous Improvement
Write  unit and integration tests  to maintain high code quality and ensure reliability.

Identify bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues, and devise effective solutions.
