A successful ETL Software Developer at Fiserv does software design; software development using ETL Tool such as Abinitio; adhering to coding standards and procedures; debugging / troubleshooting and maintaining computer programs.

• You will develop a deep understanding of appropriate data & software components including conceptual data models, data flows, entity relationships, specifications, audit controls, exception and error handling, security, etc.
• You create and execute test plans/cases based on requirements and design specifications.
• Support the development of high-quality software within a scrum team as per enterprise standards.
• Support technical design decisions through validation of technical approaches and prototyping of new concepts.
• Support team members to ensure successful sprint outcomes.
• Raising technical, security, delivery, and performance risks
• Identify and implement continuous improvements to the development practice.
• Understand the existing processing architecture and provide high level design and technical solution for the new change request and project.
• Coordinate and work with offshore team for all deliverables and this will include peer review, proper documentation, and installation.

• Expertise in Abinitio graph building and debugging skills.
• Solid understanding of Abinitio architecture and knowledge on High-availability clustered computing set up in Abinitio.
• Proficient in Oracle, Db2 and other RDBMS databases and their Abinitio implementations
• Proficient in metaprogramming techniques in Abinitio
• Sound-understanding of performance enhancement strategies and run time behavior of Abinitio graphs execution.
• Working experience of handling EBCDIC data in Abinitio
• Hands on experience with Abinitio EME
• Proficient in Unix Shell scripting
• Preferred to have basic mainframe knowledge (such as JCL, File handling, Job executions, Copybooks, etc.) and scheduling tools like CA7.
• 6+ years of practical experience in Abinitio.
• 2+ years of experience in Talend software.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical discipline or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of overall IT experience designing, developing, and implementing software applications and hands on experience with large scale applications at large institutions.

• Experience in Agile Software Development methodologies including Scrum.
• Having working experience on No-SQL databases (e.g., Hadoop/Hive).

• Practical experience with the end-to-end Dev Ops CI/CD pipeline including one or more of the following:
  Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins, Gitlab, Scanning tools.
• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and/or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
