What You’ll Do In

The Role

Vice President, Lead Software Engineer in Alpharetta, Georgia to design, develop, and maintain large‑scale software projects for the Wealth Management Platform, develop new products, troubleshoot retail trading systems, collaborate with business partners, provide technical guidance, produce detailed design specifications, code, test, debug, document, support applications, and solve complex technical problems. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.

What You’ll Bring To

The Role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Five years of experience in the position offered or as a Software Architect, Applications Developer, Technology Analyst, or related occupation.
  • Five years of experience with Tomcat, Maven, and Oracle.
  • Three years of experience with Java 1.8, Spring Boot 2.0, Git, Active MQ, Confluence, Reactive Programming, RxJava, Log4J, Mockito, JIRA, Intelli

    J Idea, Linux, and Rabbit

    MQ.
  • Two years of experience with Magic Draw.
Compensation

Expected base pay between $185,000 and $185,000 per year at commencement of employment, with additional components such as commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, short‑ and long‑term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
