The Software Developer – AI Applications is responsible for developing and supporting web-based applications, with a focus on AI-powered capabilities within the Ceto Nova™ platform.

This role contributes across the full stack, including front-end development, backend APIs, data integration, and Azure-based cloud services. Working closely with the Chief Technology Officer and senior engineering team, the developer delivers scalable, high-quality solutions while building technical depth in modern application and AI development.

This position is designed for early-career to developing engineers and serves as a foundation for growth into more advanced full-stack and AI-focused engineering roles.

• Develop, test, and maintain application features across web-based systems
• Build and support single-page applications and RESTful APIs using Angular, Angular Material, Highcharts, C#, and .NET
• Contribute across frontend, backend, and data layers with increasing independence

• Support and extend AI-powered features within the Ceto Nova™ platform, including semantic search, intent detection, retrieval patterns, and tool calling
• Assist in implementing AI integrations using Azure AI and related services
• Follow established patterns for prompt design, tool execution, and AI logging
• Contribute to evaluation, testing, and refinement of AI functionality
• Maintain awareness of AI-specific risks including prompt injection, data scoping, and appropriate data handling

• Write and optimize SQL Server queries and contribute to stored procedure development
• Support CRUD operations, Send Grid functionality, and backend data integration
• SSIS/ETL solution development
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance

• Support application deployment within Microsoft Azure including App Services, Static Web Apps, Application Insights, and Azure AI services
• Work within Git Hub and Dev Ops workflows including pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines
• Follow secure coding practices including dependency management, authentication standards, and environment configuration
• Implement authentication and authorization using Auth0 SDKs in alignment with established patterns

• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality and maintainability
• Support development of test cases and validation of both application and AI functionality
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and cross‑functional stakeholders
• Document technical work clearly and consistently

• 04 years of software development experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience with Angular, JavaScript or Type Script, HTML, and CSS
• Working knowledge of C#, .NET, and RESTful API development
• Basic understanding of SQL and data structures
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure concepts and Git-based workflows
• Exposure to AI tools or APIs such as Azure AI preferred
• Strong problem‑solving ability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
