Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer

Role Overview

Deliver highly complex solutions with significant system linkages, dependencies, and associated risk. Lead and perform development efforts such as analysis, design, coding, and testing.

Work Shift:

1st Shift (United States of America). English language fluency is required.

• Participate in testing, implementation, maintenance, and escalated support of CRC's most complex solutions.
• Perform development tasks including customized coding, software integration, analysis, configuring solutions, and using relevant tools to configure or generate solutions.
• Ensure adherence to company and industry standards and provide technical consultation on extremely challenging or unusual situations.
• Write and run unit tests.
• Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and desired results.
• Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices.
• Use sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions.
• Mentor less experienced teammates to build technical expertise.
• Act as an Agile champion, responsible for delivering high-quality working software, automating manual/reusable tasks, and consulting with the business from the beginning of the design work.
• Participate in refining user stories, develop unit testing, support integration and functional testing, provide warranty support, and transfer knowledge to production support.

• Bachelor’s degree and eight to twelve years of experience as a developer or equivalent education and related training or experience; should have at least 10 years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in C#.NET, Angular, and Azure.
• Experience in specialty insurance (quoting, binding, etc.).
• Deep specialized and/or broad functional knowledge.
• Sound understanding of business and organizational strategies and processes.
• Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices.
• Ability to lead complex projects.
• Sophisticated analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical and business problems.
• Ability to influence others at senior levels to adopt a new perspective.
