Overview
Deliver technically complex solutions, perform system integration support for all project work, consult and partner with business product owners to understand end goal, and offer solutions and recommendations during the design phase.
Responsibilities- Develop customized coding, software integration, perform analysis, configure solutions using project‑specific tools.
- Lead and participate in development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of highly complex solutions, adhering to company standards and robust unit testing.
- Build non‑functional monitoring capabilities and provide escalated support for highly complex applications in production.
- Build in and maintain security controls and monitoring in support of company standards.
- Lead moderately complex projects and participate in larger, more complex initiatives.
- Solve complex technical and operational problems and act as a resource for teammates with less experience.
- May oversee the work of a small team.
- In an Agile environment, deliver high‑quality working software, automate manual/reusable tasks, engage with business from the beginning of design, leverage continuous engineering practices to deliver business value, participate in refining user stories, design, develop, and maintain automated unit testing, support integration and functional testing, provide automated monitoring capabilities, warranty support, and knowledge transfer to production support. Develop code in accordance with acceptance criteria established by the Product Owner.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or 10+ years of experience in software development. - Experience:
At least 5+ years designing, building, and deploying complex business applications using Python, Java, or C#. - Hands‑on experience in AI/ML, specifically GenAI and LLM‑based solutions, including code deployment and pipeline setup.
- Expertise in Java/Python programming, large language models, prompt engineering, fine‑tuning, retrieval‑augmented generation pipelines, vector databases, model management, deployment, and monitoring.
- Proficient in building and deploying solutions on cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, and leveraging AI/ML services and serverless architectures.
- Experience building/deploying scalable microservices with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with relational and vector databases.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design, strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Strong understanding of SOA, Open API methodologies, and service architectures.
- Experience with web servers, application containers, caching technologies, messaging systems, and build tools such as Git, Maven, and Jenkins.
- Proven ability to write comprehensive unit and integration tests.
- Master’s degree and ten+ years experience or equivalent education and work experience.
- Banking or financial services experience.
- Experience building high‑quality applications or services at enterprise scale.
- Experience with open‑source tools and frameworks.
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of relational database design and development (SQL, stored procedures, data modeling).
- Experience with messaging systems such as MQ or JMS.
- Experience using build tools such as Git, Maven, and Jenkins.
This role is hybrid in Alpharetta or Charlotte.
