Embedded Software Engineer

Job Requirements

• Minimum experience:
  
  10+ Years in Embedded Systems, C, C++ and Python, QoS, Git Hub (Expert Level)
• Software developer for QoS [quality of software] Subsystem – 2 positions available
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering degree
• Expert level coding skills in C, C++ and Python
• 10+ years of experience in embedded systems (Router/Switch software) programming and unit testing
• Knowledge of device drivers
• Experience at Juniper, Arista, or previous Cisco employment preferred
• Experience with QoS queuing and scheduling with ASIC interaction
• Working knowledge of policy maps, class maps, WRED, RDMA within QoS
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient using Git Hub, Copilot, Jira, etc.
