Job Description
Position:
Big Data/Hadoop Developer
Job Location:
Alpharetta, GA
Duration: 3-6 Months Contract + Extensions (Total # Positions:
1)
Interview:
Phone + Face-to-Face (or Direct FTF) interview. Skype is option only for Non-Locals.
Hiring Manager will give first preference to local candidates. Candidates must provide manager details with whom he/she worked and reported.
Yrs of
Experience:
Minimum 8+ (Hands‑on Hadoop development experience is a must).
- Experienced Hadoop developer skilled in distributed, parallel, cloud computing, SQL concepts, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, Java Mapred, R, Shell, map‑reduce.
- Support large data sets (Hadoop, HDFS, etc.) and HBase/No
SQL. - Responsible for build deliverables (detailed design, coding, unit testing) and quality and peer reviews for all development.
