Job Description:
The Consultant – AI Context Integration & MCP Enablement is a specialized consulting role focused on enabling seamless integration between AI development tools and enterprise context sources using Model Context Protocol (MCP) and related integration frameworks. This role ensures that AI tools can reliably access, process, and utilize internal and external context data through well-structured, secure, and scalable integration patterns. Combining technical consulting, API integration expertise, and enablement delivery, this position helps enterprises operationalize context-aware AI systems that improve developer productivity and tool effectiveness.
Day to Day
Job Duties:
- Design, build, and implement integrations between AI developer tools and enterprise context sources using MCP or similar frameworks
- Configure and validate data flows, authentication mechanisms, and context delivery pipelines for approved AI tools
- Test and troubleshoot integration issues across APIs, connectors, permissions, and configuration layers
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements, constraints, and integration strategies
- Create documentation, runbooks, and configuration guidance for context integration and operational support
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in AI tool integration, platform engineering, or developer enablement roles
- Strong experience with APIs, service integrations, authentication flows, and JSON-based data exchange
- Working knowledge of MCP or similar context-connector and integration patterns
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or another scripting/programming language
- Experience validating integrations, troubleshooting data flows, and documenting technical implementations
- Working knowledge of Git-based workflows and standard software development practices
- Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate across technical and business stakeholders
Travel:
Onsite role in Alpharetta with limited travel based on business requirements
Degree:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field
Nice to Have:
- Experience with enterprise knowledge systems, context repositories, or retrieval-augmented architectures
- Familiarity with observability tools, logging frameworks, and runtime integration monitoring
- Exposure to enterprise AI platforms, governed rollout environments, or internal developer tooling ecosystems
- Experience working in consulting or professional services environments
- Understanding of secure enterprise integration patterns and compliance-driven architectures
