We are looking for a Backend / Distributed Systems Engineer with experience in Temporal to design, build, and manage scalable, fault-tolerant workflows across microservices.
You will work on workflow orchestration
, reliable execution
, and long-running business processes using Temporal.
- Design and implement workflow orchestration systems using Temporal
- Build and maintain Workflows & Activities for business processes
- Develop fault-tolerant distributed systems with retry, state persistence, and recovery
- Integrate workflows with:
- APIs
- Databases
- External services
- Monitor and optimize workflow execution and performance
- Implement Saga patterns / distributed transactions
- Collaborate with Dev Ops for deployment (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong experience with:
- Hands-on experience with Temporal.io
- Solid understanding of:
- Distributed systems
- REST / gRPC APIs
- Experience with:
- Docker
- Knowledge of:
- Databases (SQL / No
SQL)
Additional (Nice to Have)
- Experience with:
- Graph DB (e.g., Neo4j)
- BPM tools like Camunda
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
