We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Java Developer with strong expertise in Java, Node.js, and Apache Kafka to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have experience building microservices-based applications, developing responsive front-end solutions, and implementing event-driven architectures in fast-paced Agile environments.

* The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $100k - $110k/year & benefits (see below).

• Minimum 7+ years of software engineering experience with expertise in Full Stack Java development.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, Hibernate, Spring Security, and JPA
  .
• Hands‑on experience with Node.js and server‑side application development.
• Strong experience with Apache Kafka including producers, consumers, topics, partitions, consumer groups, and event streaming.
• Experience building scalable and resilient enterprise applications using distributed systems architecture.
• Experience implementing and supporting event‑driven architectures and real‑time data processing solutions.
• Strong understanding of application design patterns, object‑oriented programming, and software engineering best practices.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL

• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and communication skills.
• Banking and Financial Services domain experience is highly preferred

• Design and develop scalable full‑stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, and modern front‑end technologies.
• Develop and maintain Microservices‑based applications supporting high‑volume enterprise transactions.

• Create and maintain Kafka producers, consumers, and stream processing applications to support business‑critical workflows.

• Develop responsive user interfaces using React.js or Angular frameworks.
• Collaborate with Architects, Product Owners, QA teams, and Business Analysts to deliver high‑quality software solutions.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Daily Standups.
