Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Backend/API Developer with a strong focus  Core to join our team as a contractor. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in backend development, with a proven track record of designing and implementing robust APIs and backend systems. This role requires a deep understanding  Core and its ecosystem, as well as the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high performance backend systems and APIs  Core.
• Collaborate with front end developers and other stakeholders to integrate user facing elements with server side logic.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing applications and APIs.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to backend development  Core.
• Document technical specifications and maintain comprehensive documentation for developed systems.

Mandatory

Skills:

• Strong expertise  Core framework and its libraries.
• Proficient in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Extensive experience with database technologies such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Dev Ops practices.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Preferred

Skills:

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.
• Knowledge of front end technologies such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 15+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Proven experience in developing applications  Core.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
