We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to work in a fast-paced warehouse and same-day shipping environment. The primary responsibility will be operating stand-up forklifts and order pickers/cherry pickers, while also assisting with other warehouse activities as needed.

The successful candidate must prioritize safety and accuracy, have strong attendance, and be willing to perform different warehouse tasks each day.

Safely operate stand-up forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.

Complete daily forklift inspections and equipment logs.

Load and unload trucks and incoming deliveries.

Receive, inspect, stock, and put away materials.

Pick, pack, process, and dispatch customer orders.

Use RF scanners/handheld scanners to locate and pick products.

Verify product quantities and order accuracy.

Move products from warehouse shelves and place them on pallets.

Assist with inventory counts and maintaining inventory levels.

Follow all warehouse safety regulations and procedures.

Assist with sorting, loading, picking, packing, receiving, and put-away activities as required.

Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

At least 1 year of stand-up forklift and order picker experience required.

2+ years of forklift/warehouse experience preferred.

Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.

Experience operating a stand-up forklift and cherry picker/order picker.

Warehouse experience with loading, unloading, picking, packing, receiving, or material handling.

RF scanner/handheld scanner experience preferred.

Basic computer and math skills.

Ability to read and understand safety rules, work orders, and operating instructions.

Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Good attendance and strong work ethic.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Must be willing to perform different warehouse duties as required.

Fast-paced, same-day shipping facility.

Warehouse is not temperature controlled and may be hot during summer.

Environment can be noisy at times.

Steel-toe safety shoes are required.

Strict attendance, lunch, and break policies apply.

Music/podcasts are permitted with one earbud only; active phone conversations and two earbuds are not permitted.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. Candidates who successfully complete the contract period may have an opportunity to convert to a full-time employee, with a potential increase in pay upon conversion.
