Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. This role plays a critical part in ensuring inventory accuracy, order fulfillment efficiency, and a safe, organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking and counting merchandise, and staging inventory in designated warehouse locations
- Perform daily shipping duties such as picking, packing, labeling, and loading outbound orders
- Inspect incoming and outgoing products to ensure accuracy and quality
- Support inventory control processes including cycle counts, kitting, SKU relocation, and stock organization
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards
- Accurately complete data entry and required paperwork related to inventory and shipments
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided if needed)
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals
- Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations
Required Skills & Abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable using rolling ladders and warehouse equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Basic problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Forklift experience is a plus, but not required
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior warehouse or distribution experience is helpful but not required; training will be provided
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- Ability to safely perform repetitive motions
- Occasional use of computers or handheld devices for data entry
