The Rural Metro Fire Department is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) in Alpine, CA. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $81,549 to $118,209 annually, coupled with a sign-on bonus of $12,500. The AMT will ensure the overall maintenance and safety of the helicopter fleet and will need to manage mechanical inspections, repairs, and inventory checks.
The ideal candidate should have a valid A&P license, at least three years of turbine-powered helicopter experience, and be knowledgeable about federal regulations. This role requires the ability to work flexible hours, including on-call rotations.
