The Adult Behavioral Health (ABH) Program Manager is a licensed therapist who will provide therapeutic services to individuals 18+ and their families, and youth ages 17 and under as needed. The ABH Program Manager will assure wrap around services are being provided by being a liaison between SIHC departments and Behavioral Health. The ABH Program Manager will work closely with all other SIHC adult service programs.
Specific Duties And Responsibilities- Working knowledge of Agency policies and procedures, AAAHC, HIPAA, confidentiality, Health & Human Services, and other county, state, Tribal, and federal regulations.
- Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and treatment for individuals 18+ and youth 17 and under (as needed) and their families.
- Provide a high level of customer service for both internal and external partners and clients.
- Provide effective treatment plan in order for clients to meet goals.
- Systematize, prioritize, and handle a caseload taking into account schedule, acuity of the patients, and program requirements. Adhere strictly to the laws and ethics related to confidentiality and documentation at all times.
- Actively participate in meetings that support the treatment goals of the client and family.
- Responsible for working with Director of Behavioral Health with ongoing program evaluation and development activities.
- Provide training for professional staff on adult trauma and appropriate assessment/intervention strategies.
- Create a network of programs and services that would assist the clients in meeting goals.
- Assist the primary care team and behavioral health team in developing care management process such as client engagement, behavioral health, case management, and working in larger systems.
- Work collaboratively with the integrated case manager.
- Work collaboratively with other SIHC programs and partners to ensure integrative integrated, collaborative, community-based care.
- Provide statistical reports that are required by the grant and SIHC.
- Create and implement programs to benefit community individuals and their families.
- Maintain appropriate documentation of all client interactions that meet ethical and legal requirement for county, state, and federal standards.
- Clinical and administrative supervision of therapists, interns, case managers, and other staff.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule may be required based on need.

Education/
Experience:
This position requires licensure from the California Board of Behavioral Sciences or the California Board of Psychology as an LMFT, LCSW, or Licensed Psychologist. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed Behavioral Health Therapist and experience working with trauma is required. Must have a demonstrated knowledge of Evidence Based Practices. Also preferred is experience working with victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
Education, training, and/or experience, which clearly demonstrates possession of the knowledge and skills stated above.
Possess abilities to work flexible hours as required to meet department needs; facilitate and negotiate and resolve issues professionally; work collaboratively in a team approach; effectively communicate with confidence and knowledge to staff and clients.
