- Standard office applications; advanced computer skills; excellent writing skills; excellent organizational skills; strong interpersonal skills.

Primary ResponsibilitiesSummary
Work with our office and learn more about SRSU ! The Office of Institutional Effectiveness is hiring a dependable, detail-oriented student to support the daily operations. The hours will primarily be during the workweek, Monday-Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Function:
Provides highly skilled administrative assistance in a critical area.
Scope:
Manages preparation of high priority and sensitive materials; exercises independent judgment in a wide variety of routine and complex decisions in support of Institutional Effectiveness and Institutional Research.
Duties
- Digitize physical documents.
- Assist in organizing office paperwork.
- Provides individuals and general public with information.
- Basic data entry into IE software systems.
- Help maintain the Professional Development Calendar.
- Assist Director in researching travel, meetings, catering, and special programs arrangements.
- Operates computer utilizing word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- Non-Essential:
Other duties as assigned.
Received:
Reports to the Director of Planning and Accreditation.
Usual:
Office conditions; standard hours; exempt from overtime provisions, position is security sensitive.
This position is classified as Security-Sensitive and is thereby subject to the provisions of Texas Education Code §51.215 and Texas Government Code §411.094, which authorize employers to obtain and review criminal history record information for applicants.
Any qualifications to be considered in lieu of stated minimums require the prior approval of the Human Resources Director.
