• Bachelor’s degree (must apply and be accepted in one of many graduate programs at Sul Ross State University).
• Have previous collegiate basketball experience either playing or coaching.
• Standard office machines; computer skills.

• Additional or other related experience.
• Knowledge of Synergy Sports Tech, word processing, database, and spreadsheet computer program skills.

Summary Function:
Sul Ross State University, an NCAA Division II institution located in Alpine, Texas, and a member of the Lonestar Conference, is currently seeking qualified applicants for a graduate assistant position in the department of athletics for women’s basketball. Scope:
The successful applicant will work closely with the Head Women’s Basketball Coach and Assistant Women’s Basketball coach, and will work closely with the student‑athletes at SRSU.

• Assist in practice and game planning and preparation.
• Assist in recruiting prospective student‑athletes.
• Support student‑athlete success on the court and in the classroom.
• Hospitality and travel management.
• Help set up and tear down game operations.
• And other duties as assigned.

Supervision Received:
Head Women’s Basketball Coach.

Responsible for personal safety and the safety of others; must exercise due caution and practice safe work habits at all times. This position is security sensitive.
