Adjunct Instructor of Chemistry for faculty pool; candidates may be called as department needs arise.

Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

Primary Responsibilities

The Natural & Behavioral Sciences Department periodically seeks a qualified, part-time instructor to teach chemistry courses.

Primary responsibilities include the following:

Teach assigned courses in accordance with the SRSU's approved course descriptions.

Incorporate appropriate teaching-learning strategies, technologies, and assessment methods for evaluation of student learning into the course.

Follow guidelines for preparing and submitting course syllabi.

Meet all scheduled classes and adhere to the academic schedule, which includes final exam times.

Adhere to professional and ethical standards of conduct.

Position is security sensitive.

Responsible for personal safety and the safety of others; must exercise due caution and practice sate work habits at all times.
