Required Qualifications – Tenure Track Assistant/Associate Professor- Doctorate in Agriculture, Agricultural Business or a closely related field with a focus on applied agribusiness.
- At least 18 graduate level hours in Agri-Business or 18 graduate hours in a combination of Business and Agriculture.
- Ph.D. candidates who are near completion will be considered.
- Master's in Agricultural Business or a closely related field with a focus on applied agribusiness.
- At least 18 graduate level hours in Agri-Business or 18 graduate hours in a combination of Business and Agriculture.
- Strong commitment to undergraduate education.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Technically current.
- Enthusiastic team player and willing to work in a multidisciplinary program.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
A focus on applied Agriculture Business background, experience or coursework in the business aspects of livestock production.
Primary Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in agri-business, including courses such as Ag Economics, Ag Marketing, Farm & Ranch Records, Natural Resource Economics, and others.
- Advising students and participating in or helping to conduct departmental sponsored events.
- Participate in faculty governance and service activities at departmental, college, and university levels.
- Engage in scholarly activity, including scholarship of teaching, research, or related activities.
- Ensure personal safety and the safety of others through responsible conduct and safe work habits.
- Maintain security-sensitive responsibilities.
