Required: Master’s degree in English, Mathematics, or History or a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in one of these disciplines. Classroom teaching experience.

Preferred: PhD and prior University teaching experience. Blackboard experience.

• Teach online, synchronous courses at a variety of days and times.
• Create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material.
• Use a course syllabus for each course, following established institutional guidelines.
• Evaluate students to measure their progress in achieving course objectives and inform them in a timely manner of their progress.
• Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community.
• Position is security sensitive: responsible for personal safety and the safety of others; must exercise due caution and practice safe work habits at all times.
