Adjunct Instructor of Communication positions are part of the faculty pool; candidates may be called as departmental needs arise. All positions are security-sensitive. Master’s degree in Communication or a related field with 18 hours of graduate work in communication from an accredited institution.

Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduates of all abilities.

College teaching experience.

Excellent communication skills.

Experience using innovative instructional techniques and technologies including online course management systems.

The Natural & Behavioral Sciences Department periodically seeks qualified, part-time instructors to teach Communication courses. Teach assigned courses in accordance with the SRSU’s approved course descriptions. Incorporate appropriate teaching-learning strategies, technologies, and assessment methods for evaluation of student learning into the course. Follow guidelines for preparing and submitting course syllabi. Meet all scheduled classes and adhere to the academic schedule, including final exam schedules.
