Full‑time licensed Texas Physical Therapist Assistant. Requires an associate degree from an accredited physical therapy assistant program. Responsible for implementing and following PT plans of care established by full‑time physical therapists, collaborating with supervising PT to adjust and advance those plans as needed.
BBRMC is a 25‑bed critical access hospital with large outpatient volume, serving a 12,000+ square mile area including Alpine, Marfa, Ft. Davis, Marathon, Big Bend National Park, Terlingua, and Presidio.
Provide rehabilitation services to acute care and skilled swing bed patients, collaborating with occupational therapy, speech therapy, nursing, case management, and physicians.
In outpatient, assist patients with geriatric, neuro, spine, sports medicine, and orthopedic diagnoses. Focus on movement assessment and functional training.
Team includes OT and ST. Advanced certifications in dry needling, SFMA, kinesiotaping, and Specialist from Champions Performance training. Small‑town atmosphere emphasizes compassionate custom service and relationship building.
