Registered Nurse (RN) Infection Control
Full-Time Position
Job Summary:
- Monitors hospital for possible infection outbreak.
- Implements and maintains plans and procedures concerning control measures as set forth by the infection control committee.
- Identifies and initiates isolation protocols and informs the appropriate state and county organizations of any reportable diseases.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Requires an associate's degree and is certified as a registered nurse, bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- 1+ years of RN experience in a hospital setting
- Previous infection control experience preferred
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
- Must have a license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas
