We are looking for one senior mechanical engineering expert witness to join us on our journey, as our current workload is approaching our capacity limits.
Position Responsibilities- Lead forensic investigations involving mechanical failures and product performance
- Perform root cause analyses using accepted scientific and engineering methodologies
- Prepare clear, persuasive, and defensible expert reports
- Provide deposition and trial testimony
- Consult with attorneys on technical issues and case strategy
- Review and rebut opposing expert opinions
- Mentor and elevate junior engineers
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS or PhD preferred)
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Minimum of 5 deposition testimonies as an expert witness
- At least 1 trial testimony as a testifying expert
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly and persuasively
- High ethical standards and comfort working under legal scrutiny
