Compassionate Special Needs Support Employee

Overview

We are seeking a patient and dedicated Respite Support Worker to provide emotional and practical assistance to two adult women with special needs. This role is focused on providing 1-on-1 support to enhance their independence and quality of life while providing valuable support to their family.

• Daily Living Support:
  Assist with domestic tasks including meal preparation, light cleaning, and personal care as needed.
• Wellness & Development:
  Support physical wellness through active movement, medication management, and assistance with prescribed therapeutic activities.
• Community Integration:
  Provide occasional transportation to community activities, grocery stores, and errands.
• Relationship Building:
  Foster a safe, supportive environment built on trust and companionship.

• Service-Oriented: A genuine passion for helping others and improving lives.

• Reliability:
  Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize the needs of the individuals.

• Must have a patient demeanor and flexible availability (8‑20 hours per week).
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Background check required.

Potential shifts: Mondays 10am‑2pm, Wednesdays 4pm‑8pm, Fridays 2pm‑8pm, Sundays 8am‑2pm.
