Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT exams following physician orders and department protocols.
- Verify patient identity, obtain history, and explain procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
- Apply radiation safety principles, optimize doses, and adhere to regulatory standards.
- Start IVs, administer contrast agents, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to support timely, accurate diagnoses.
- Document exams, complete EMR and PACS workflows, and maintain accurate records.
- Inspect, operate, and troubleshoot CT equipment; report service needs promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe imaging environment aligned with infection-control policies.
- Support continuous improvement, education, and adherence to best-practice guidelines.
