• Perform various duties to troubleshoot and repair production machines. Conducts machine setup, order changes and preventative maintenance
• Serve as first line leader for production operators ensuring work is completed in a safe and quality conscience manner.
• Submit accurate production reports daily and timely.
• Comply with and enforce all safety policies and procedures, i.e.: proper PPE usage, machine guarding, etc.
• Ensure adherence to all quality practices and standards.
• Follow and enforce all GMP’s and SQF requirements.
• Support and recommend improvement strategies to improve safety, production output, and quality.
• Monitor bags being run, making sure hourly samples are taken in order to inspect quality and catch any defects and unnecessary waste.
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management, including food safety.

• Eligible to work in the United States
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen.
• Work overtime as required.
• Ability perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to successfully multitask in a fast pace environment
• High School diploma or GED
• 2-5 years Machine Operator experience
• Prior mechanical or equipment maintenance experience highly desired.
• Prior experience with GMP’s preferred.
• The commitment to stay safe and to continue to learn and develop.
• Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management.
