Seeking a hands‑on, detail-oriented person to lead maintenance, housekeeping, and security operations within our senior living community. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a safe, clean, comfortable, and well‑maintained environment that enhances quality of life for residents, families, and team members.
What You’ll Do- Provide supervision, daily oversight, and work hands‑on alongside the maintenance team. Provide leadership support to management for housekeeping and security.
- Ensure the community meets all applicable state, federal, and local regulations, including life safety and infection prevention standards.
- Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs to support resident safety and comfort.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and infection control across the community.
- Prepare for and support regulatory surveys, inspections, and audits.
- Manage departmental budgets, staffing levels, and supply inventories.
- Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate department supervisors and team members.
- Coordinate capital improvements, renovations, and vendor services.
- Respond to emergencies and after‑hours needs as required.
Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Environmental Services, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred plus 5+ years of leadership experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality environments or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong knowledge of life safety codes, infection control, and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams with a resident‑centered approach.
- Proven ability to communicate with compassion. Must have strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
