Job Description:

AHMG Hematology and Oncology at Altamonte

E. Altamonte Dr., 2nd floor, Altamonte Springs, FL

Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

may float to practices in Lake Mary, Altamonte and Oviedo as needed

* Provides supportive resources and education to patients and family members on treatment and side effects.

* Teaches patients and their families about treatment expectations and procedures. Other duties as assigned.

* Completes necessary patient forms such as FMLA, disability, and letters of medical necessity.

* Assists the benefits team in obtaining authorizations for chemotherapy and infusion-related treatments.

* Facilitates communication by answering voicemails, emails, texts, and Microsoft Teams messages.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* Bilingual (English/Spanish) [Preferred]

Education:

* Associate's of Nursing [Required]

* Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience:

* 1+ inpatient oncology, ICU or PCU experience [Preferred]

* 1+ oncology experience [Preferred]

Licenses and

Certifications:

* Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]

* Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

* Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) [Preferred]

Pay Range:

$31.53 - $52.24

Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
