The Service Technician II will serve as a liaison between the customer and the Service Supervisor/Manager, and will be responsible for organizing and controlling the preparation and execution of electrical service work to meet the company's objectives of cost, quality, and equipment conservation.

- Plan, organize, supervise, and direct the work of the crew.
- Monitor and document the progress of the assigned electrical work, including the quality and quantity of work performed.
- Required to perform electrical installation and maintenance work.
- Maintain the service vehicle in a clean and orderly manner, as well as ensure that service and repair are performed on time.
- Monitor the work to ensure that the service request is completed following local and NEC requirements.
- Establish relationships with the clients and obtain acceptance and approval of completed work.
- Provide technical assistance, i.e., interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods, equipment, etc., as required.
- Responsible for adhering to job safety standards per OSHA regulations and established Tri-City Safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure that the area where service work is performed is properly restored to normal and clean conditions when the work is complete.
- Order materials and request manpower as needed, as well as monitor, track, and approve employee work time as necessary.
- Participate in emergency service duty on a rotating basis.
- Attend job scheduling and coordination meetings.
- Responsible for schedule adjustments as necessary to ensure satisfactory support and completion of all projects and customer commitments.

Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position directly supervises employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities per the organization's policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
Education and Experience
- Four (4) years of experience as a service electrician or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience
- Must possess a valid Florida Driver's license in good standing to meet the company's driving requirements
- Strong working knowledge of construction, electrical work, and systems
- Must possess the ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and lay out a project, including the ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Knowledge of basic mathematical operations and calculations (e.g., addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, order of operations) to calculate labor, materials, and/or cost estimates for projects and work orders, etc.
- Working knowledge of National Electrical Codes
- Must have the ability to effectively read, write, and communicate in the English language at a 12th-grade level
Education and Experience
- Bilingual
- Journeyman Electrician license
- Master Electrician license
- OSHA 30
