Are you an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical Technician looking for a varied role within a specialist industrial environment?

Our client is looking for an Instrumentation & Electrical Technician to join their maintenance team, supporting the safe and efficient operation of production and gas plant facilities.

You'll be responsible for routine and non-routine maintenance, servicing instrumentation and control equipment, responding to breakdowns, supporting new installations and working alongside specialist engineers and contractors.

The Role
Carrying out routine and non-routine maintenance and repairs
Servicing process control instrumentation including transmitters, controllers and analysers
Maintaining site services and equipment to a safe working standard
Responding to out-of-hours plant breakdowns where required
Carrying out equipment isolations to permit requirements
Supporting installation and commissioning of new plant
Working with specialist engineers and contractors
Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety

The Candidate
4-5 years' relevant maintenance experience
Instrumentation qualification - Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3
Good working knowledge of electrical systems
Understanding of the oil & gas industry
Strong problem-solving skills
Able to plan and prioritise effectively
Reliable, proactive and able to work under pressure
IT literate and confident communicating with colleagues and contractors
