Location: North Alton

Lewis and Clark Community College is currently seeking an Adjunct, Dental Hygiene - Clinical to work on the Godfrey, IL campus. LC’s Mission is to empower people by raising aspirations and fostering achievement through dynamic, compassionate and responsible learning experiences. Responsibilities
  • Create, administer, and grade assignments of LC students;
  • Calculate and submit grades for students;
  • Collaborate with Professors on coursework;
  • Stay current on material in the needed field of study;
  • Provide support and guidance for students as needed.
  • Demonstrate appropriate continuing education and training, including educational methodology as it relates to dental hygiene.
  • Demonstrate clinical skills, consistent with program criteria, to support students in their professional education.
Qualifications
  • Must have Associate's Degree or higher.
  • Excellent verbal and oral communication skills;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Currently licensed dental hygienist in the State of Illinois
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Minimum of 5 years of practice experience as a dental hygienist.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Current certification as a Dental Assistant.

For Academic Year , the pay rate for adjunct faculty is $838 per lecture-equivalent hour.
