Dental Hygienist

Job Summary

College Avenue Family Dentistry is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team.

Location:

3430 College Avenue, Alton, Illinois 62002.

Work schedule:

Monday 8 am–4 pm;
Tuesday–Thursday 8 am–5 pm.

• Current dental hygienist license in Illinois.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required).
• Excellent knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
• CPR Certification.

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x‑rays and electronic medical record systems.
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills.
• Clinical experience meeting patient preventative care and overall maintenance needs.

• Perform essential duties as required.
• Prolonged sitting and standing.
• Must lift and carry up to 45 lbs at times.
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions periodically.
• TB test required for new hires.
