Certified Stroke Center

Support Staff Available: 14 hours daily NP/PA support

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Active Illinois License

BC/BE; ABEM preferred

DEA required

CSL required

BLS, ACLS, PALS, certifications

Qualifications:

recent ED experience, comfort with treating alll ages, Experience in stroke response

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide emergency medical services to adult and pediatric patients

Manage patient care in a 16-bed emergency department

Deliver 24-hour physician coverage in assigned shifts

Work collaboratively with NP/PA support staff

Ensure adherence to standards required for state-approved pediatrics and Certified Stroke Center
