The facility is a Certified Stroke Center by the Joint Commission, with emergency department-approved pediatrics by the state.

Schedule:

24-hour physician coverage (6am-6pm; 6pm-6am), supported by 14 hours of NP/PA coverage daily

Responsibilities and Duties
Provide direct patient care in a remodeled emergency department
Manage a diverse caseload, including adult and pediatric emergency cases
Respond to acute stroke cases in a Certified Stroke Center setting
Collaborate with nurse practitioners and physician assistants for integrated patient care
Utilize new telemetry monitoring systems for patient management
Maintain adherence to hospital protocols and standards of care

Additional Information
Must hold current board certification in Emergency Medicine
Active Illinois license required

Experience with high-volume emergency departments preferred
