Locum - Physician - General Medicine Houston, TX

In this role, you'll provide high-quality general medical care on a temporary basis, supporting healthcare facilities with your expertise in patient assessment and management. Your contributions will ensure patients receive timely and compassionate care, all within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Required Skills
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Valid state medical license to practice in Texas
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related specialty
- Proven experience in general medicine, outpatient care, or similar settings
- Strong clinical assessment skills, including physical exams and patient interviews
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple patients efficiently while maintaining high standards of care
- Prior locum experience preferred
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Knowledge of current medical guidelines and best practices
- Bilingual abilities, especially Spanish, a plus
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Minimum of 2+ years of clinical practice in general medicine or related fields
- Experience providing care in diverse patient populations
- Active Texas medical license
- Ability to travel locally within Houston, TX
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient safety and confidentiality
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and administrative tasks related to your role
