Description
License: DPI License 1809 (Early Childhood) or
DPI License 1801 (Cross-Categorical)
Requirements:
The applicant should:
- Demonstrate success in team teaching with emphasis/ strength in the areas of reading, language arts
- Demonstrate success in specially designing instructional content for multiple subject areas aligned to individual IEP’s
- Demonstrate success in working with special education students
- Be flexible and adaptive.
- Demonstrate use of technology to enhance student performance
- Demonstrate ability to design and create learning experiences that are developmentally appropriate; familiar with research-based interventions for reading, math and behavior
- Demonstrate ability to successfully complete IEP paperwork and manage successfully manage timelines for annual IEP meetings and evaluations
- Demonstrate ability to manage challenging behaviors
- Demonstrate ability to collaborate and work effectively as a member of a team, relate to students, parents and staff.
- Be willing to stay current and use technology in your classroom.
