Sonographer; Weekend and Night Shifts

Role Overview

Seeking a Full-time Sonographer responsible for performing ultrasound imaging to diagnose and assist with treatments such as biopsies and needle procedures. The role includes ensuring equipment readiness, conducting imaging exams independently, and documenting procedures accurately.

• Ensure proper function and readiness of ultrasound equipment.
• Perform ultrasound studies on adult and pediatric patients, including on-call and portable exams.
• Assist with needle procedures such as biopsies and drainages.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed.

• Associate degree or equivalent trade school education.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent certification.
• Preferred experience of at least 2 years, with additional certifications like RDCS or CPR advantageous.
• Ability to perform imaging independently and handle various patient needs.

• Operate ultrasound equipment effectively.
• Perform imaging procedures across multiple sites as required.
• Possibly perform vascular imaging and assist with invasive procedures.
• Participate in holiday rotations and on-call duties.
