Role: The Sonographer performs diagnostic ultrasound imaging to assist in diagnosing and treating patients across various specialties, including abdominal, obstetric, small parts, and vascular imaging. Responsibilities include ensuring equipment readiness, conducting independent ultrasound procedures, and documenting results accurately. The role may involve on-call duties and performing portable exams at different sites.
Qualifications & Skills: Requires an associate degree or trade school equivalent, with certification as an RDMS or similar credential. Preferred candidates have at least 2 years of experience and additional certifications such as RDCS or CPR. No supervisory experience is necessary.
Key Duties: Maintain equipment functionality, perform high-quality ultrasound exams, and ensure proper documentation. The role supports patient care with a focus on quality, safety, and accuracy in imaging procedures.
