Job Description
TITLE
Registered Nurse - Telemetry

SCHEDULE
Nights 19:00-07:30, 3x12s

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Hours:

36 hours per week

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 1 year RN experience required
- Valid nursing license in the state

- Certifications:

ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

- Experience with telemetry monitoring and EKG rhythm identification
- Management of advanced medication infusions (non-titrating)

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor patients undergoing telemetry and general medical assessments.
- Perform pre- and post-procedure care for various medical interventions.
- Conduct neurological assessments and provide care for acute ischemic strokes (AIS) and transient ischemic attacks (TIA).
- Manage and administer prescribed medication infusions without up-titration, while following established protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and meet all regulatory compliance requirements.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Orientation: 24 hours
- Must provide valid references, certifications, and identification details upon submission.
- Fit testing may be required; candidates with facial hair must ensure compatibility for testing.
- Requests for time off must be submitted with application; no RTO during the first week.
- Background checks are required.
