Intermediate Care Unit (IMC/Stepdown) - Nurse

Hours:
36 hrs/week (3x12s) or 48 hrs/week (4x12s)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Requirements
- Valid state RN license
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, NIHSS
- Minimum 1 year RN experience
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to adult patients requiring cardiac monitoring and stepdown care.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry, including management of dysrhythmias.
- Provide post-MI and post/pre-cardiac catheterization care.
- Conduct pacemaker monitoring and care for post-ICU and CVA patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 24 hours
- No RTO first week; max 7 days RTO per 13-week contract; RTO must be on submittal
