Registered Nurse - Cardiac/Telemetry
Schedule

Weekend requirement:
Every other weekend
Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Hours:
36 hours/week for 3x12s; 48 hours/week for 4x12s
Requirements
- Licenses: MO or compact RN license required; IL RN license in hand required at submission
- Certifications:
ACLS, BLS (BCLS), NIH (NIHSS)
- Years of experience: 1 year
- EMR:
Epic
- Skills:
Cardiac telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation/management;
Care of patients pre/post cardiac catheterization and pacemaker management;
Care of patients post-ICU and post-CVA;
General medical/surgical overflow
Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients requiring cardiac telemetry.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and ongoing care.
- Respond to changes in patient conditions and provide appropriate interventions.

- Orientation: 24 hours
- On-call requirement:
Yes
- RTO restrictions:
Maximum of 7 days; no RTO allowed first week; no new RTO after submission
- Scrub color:
