Part-Time Emergency Department Nurse

Provides direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards. Ensures patient and family-centered care by educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.

• Promotes a healing environment and patient safety, participating in quality and regulatory activities.
• Develops and documents individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the healthcare team and patient/family.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations.
• Maintains safety standards and demonstrates alertness in a safety-sensitive role.

• Education:
  
  Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree;
  Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Licenses &
  
  Certifications:
  
  Valid RN license.
• Experience:
  
  No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
