Power Equipment Salesclerk
Reports to: Store Manager, Assistant Manager or Supervisor on duty.
Classification: Non-Exempt / Hourly, Part-Time
To provide the best customer service and maximize sales through efficient execution of Company procedures and to uphold the Gold Standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Help customers locate departmental merchandise and educate them on product knowledge.
- Verify the proper product rotation and basic stocking of merchandise.
- Operate a handheld Telxon and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Remove damaged merchandise from the floor as needed.
- Follow Company guidelines for department merchandising and setting store ads.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment while following loss prevention and safety procedures.
- Assist customers with special order requests and sales.
- Attend store and job-related meetings along with completion of required in-house training.
- Communicate effectively with Customers, Management, and all store employees.
- Follow all applicable Company, local, state and federal guidelines.
- Ensure that your work area is clean and has sufficient supplies to complete assigned duties.
- As needed, operate cash registers and assist with customer carry outs.
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to operate pallet jacks and/or tow motors.
- Weightlifting capability up to and including 50 lbs.
- Other duties and responsibilities may be required as assigned.
Completes special projects directed by management and additional responsibilities may be assigned throughout the store at any given time.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE- Minimum Age requirement is 16 years old.
- Must possess great customer service and communication skills.
Team Members who average a minimum of 25 hours per week after 6 months of employment are eligible for standard dental, vision, accident, legal plan, identity fraud protection plan per standard company eligibility requirements.
Strong Team Member Discount after 30 days.
Wage Range: $15.50 - 17.00 per hour
